Dr. Lee Magness and Dr. Patricia Magness Professors and Authors With
over 30 years each of teaching experience, Lee and Pat Magness bring extensive
biblical as well as practical understanding to the subject of the influence of
Jesus in the humanities and the arts. Dr. Patricia Magness has a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on women’s studies and literary theory from Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA as well as a M.A. in English from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN and a B.A. in English from Milligan College, TN. She currently serves as Director of Humanities and has served as Professor of Humanities at Milligan College since 1984. Both have written numerous articles and essays for publications including Leaven and Christian Standard. Dr. Lee Magness is the author of At the Foot of the Cross and Silver Dasher, an allegorical novel and Pat Magness has authored the book A Guide to Children’s Bible Story Books. |  |
