Steve
Thomas is a pastor, author and lecturer specializing in various aspects of
communication and conflict resolution. He is a 1975 graduate of Midwest
Christian College, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA and also holds a MA in
Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
He
has been in full-time ministry for the past 29 years, serving as Youth Minister
for 17 years, and Family Life Minister for 11 years. Twenty-three of those years
were spent on the staff of the Highland Park Christian Church, in Tulsa,
Oklahoma, where he pioneered their family ministry program.
In
his current role as Care Pastor at the Canyon Ridge Christian Church he
oversees the counseling program and lay care-giving ministry, as well as
coordinates support and recovery groups and the church benevolence ministry.
